KIT Prevention System Demonstration

KIT Prevention System (KPS) overview Tuesday, August 30, 2011, 2:30- 3:30pm EST

Please join us online, Tuesday, August 30, 2011, for an overview of the KIT Prevention System (KPS) that is currently being used in 15 states. The KPS is a cloud-based data management system that collects, manages and analyzes state and federal government prevention program data for funding and outcomes. You will learn about how the KPS functionalities are consistent with the SPF five-phase prevention logic model and can be easily adapted to meet specific prevention data needs. This management and data collection system also functions as an educational tool with a built-in prevention knowledge base and logic model.

As an extension of KIT's annual Learning Community meetings, we have offered our clients the opportunity to meet more often online. The LC webinars are generated from ideas suggested by our clients and we provide a platform for customers to present their ideas with the intention of creating a more knowledgeable community to better serve the industry. Below is the video for the last webinar we held. Dr. Barry Donovan, Research Scientist, with New York State OASAS and Dr. Alan Stein-Seroussi, Senior Program Evaluator, with PIRE presented on the conceptual and technical aspects of a newly developed module for collecting coalition data and techniques involved with the collection of environmental strategies data.
